JUDICIAL CONDUCT TRIBUNAL TO CONDUCT HEARINGS ON THE COMPLAINT LODGED BY MR T K SEMEKAZI AGAINST JUDGE B HARTLE

The media is advised that the Judicial Conduct Tribunal (Tribunal), comprising Justice B H Mbha, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeal, designated in terms of section 22(1)(a) of the Judicial Service Commission Act 9 of 1994 (JSC Act) as the Tribunal President, and Judge S E Weiner, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeal, as a member of the Tribunal and Adv. P Seleka SC, as a non-judicial member of the Tribunal, will convene for the hearing of the complaint lodged by Mr T K Semekazi against Judge B Hartle of the Eastern Cape Division of the High Court.

The hearings will take place as follows:
Dates: 09 – 18 November 2026
Venue: The Capital Empire Hotel, located at 177 Empire Place (Corner of Rivonia Road), Sandhurst, Sandton
Time: 10h00
