On 5 November 2025, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) published notices calling for nominations to fill vacancies in the following courts:
- Supreme Court of Appeal
- Land Court
- Competition Appeal Court
- Western Cape Division of the High Court
- Eastern Cape Division of the High Court
- Gauteng Division of the High Court
The closing date for nominations was 5 December 2025.
